AMC Theatres was the first to sign an agreement last January for a 12-screen, 51,200-square-foot megaplex. According to AMC officials, this specific section of Westminster has the kind of growth potential that they look for when seeking prime locations for their megaplex theatres.

There also will be a two-story, 140,000-square-foot Macy’s department store and a 98,000-square-foot J.C.Penney. Integrated with the center also will be a SuperTarget that will combine grocery and general merchandise.

“The anchors we have are great,” said Tindall. “In fact, this will be the first ground-up Macy’s in the Colorado market.”
