With the additions of Edgeworth and Cutters Ridge, Tobacco Row has cemented its history and future as Richmond's premier live/work/play destination.

Cindy Morris, regional manager for Forest City Residential Group, praised the additions as "truly one-of-a-kind." She added, "Cutters Ridge is a great addition to Tobacco Row, which is already one of Richmond's most dynamic metropolitan neighborhoods."

At Edgeworth's Feb. 15 grand opening, local officials, business leaders and Forest City executives gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the historic adaptive re-use project.

In addition to Richmond Mayor Douglas Wilder, other notable attendees included: Deborah Ratner Salzberg, president - Forest City Washington; Tom Henneberry, COO - Forest City Washington; Greg Spivey, vice president - Construction, Forest City Washington; Tina Rosendale, regional vice president, East Coast, Forest City Residential Group; Cindy Morris, regional manager, Forest City Residential Group; and George Cvijovic, co-president and COO Forest City Residential Management.

"This has been a labor of love," said Pat Lott, senior vice president – Office Development and Leasing, Forest City Commercial Group, on the rebirth of Edgeworth and Tobacco Row.

Mayor Wilder acknowledged Forest City's dedication to bringing the extraordinary Tobacco Row community to life. "The people of Richmond are proud that you're here," the mayor said. "I know all of the persons in our city government welcome you here. We'll leave no stone unturned to make certain that you have an enjoyable stay here."
