"Forest City has developed over the last 25 years a reputation across America of bringing vitality to urban areas. And we do this in partnership with cities."
- David Levey, executive vice president - East Coast Development, Forest City Residential Group.
Set near the banks of Virginia's own James River, Tobacco Row in Richmond has set new standards to become one of the nation's premier collections of classic buildings, made cutting edge once again.
The Challenge
Recently, two of Tobacco Row's most unique projects have celebrated their grand openings: Cutters Ridge – an all-new, for-lease townhome project; and Edgeworth – distinctive Class A office space that offers unrivaled views, amenities, comforts and attention to detail.
The residential townhomes recently opened their model unit to perspective residents.
For Cutters Ridge, its warm red brick exterior, classic architectural details and
townhome-living aren't the only attributes that set it apart – it's also the only all-new structure at Tobacco Row.
Richmond's once-famed, turn-of-the-century refineries and warehouses are already home to The River Lofts and Shops at Tobacco Row, a collection of 326 residential units and retail space.
They have recently been joined by a business address with an edge – Edgeworth.
Originally built in 1923, this magnificent building was once home to the Edgeworth
Tobacco Company.
