Federally Assisted Housing

Since 1972, Forest City has been actively involved in the management of Federally Assisted Housing communities across the U.S. We have developed, built and now manage 7,763 Federally Assisted Housing apartments in 45 communities located in California, Connecticut, Kentucky, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.  

Our Federally Assisted portfolio is primarily dedicated to providing affordable residential housing to senior families with one member 62 or older. To successfully meet our goals we emphasize a program of on-site management, numerous activities, providing a friendly and comfortable environment.
